COURSE NAME: French IV (UHS)

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Comprehensive Regents Examination in French


BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This advanced course offers further study of the French language,
culture, and literature. The class provides a thorough review of grammar and aims to refine the following
skills: vocabulary enrichment, reading, composition and conversation. Students will cover a variety of topics
designed to meet their interests and talents.

A study of one major literary work is required. Students who satisfactorily complete the course receive one
high school credit. As an option, students can receive college credit through the SUNY UHS program.
