BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This course is designed to introduce students to the rewards and
risks of owning or operating a business enterprise.

Emphasis is placed on the mastery of skills needed to plan, organize, manage, operate and finance a business
using current technology. Skills in communication, technical writing, mathematics, research, and problem
solving are reinforced as each student prepares a business plan.
