COURSE NAME: Advanced US History I & II

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Frontier psychology, isolationism, and regional interests are major
topics to be examined in the study of the development of the American civilization. Also covered is the
industrialization and America's emergence as a major world power are focal points in the study of modern
America from the Civil War to the present.


OTHER NOTES / MISCELLANEOUS: Course is currently offered through our Bridge Program with North Country
Community College. Our students are paying $50 per semester to earn a total of 6 college credits.
