Autism Training Broadcast In DL / "Project Link" Partnership November 2007
Autism is an epidemic currently facing as many as 13 million people throughout the world and hundreds of children locally. In New York State, the Upper Hudson Valley Region has the highest population of these individuals outside of New York City.

Project LINK (Learning Initiatives Necessary for Kids) is a local 501(c)3 agency that has trained more than 250 educators and parents involved in teaching children with autism.

Project Link is working with the Distance Learning staff and regional coordinators in a plan to utilize the DL network to broadcast a training series this fall to be made available to as many Distance Learning sites as possible.

2007 Training Dates:
November 1st, 5th, and 7th, 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M..
