Distance Learning Course Description


COURSE NAME: AP European History

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Columbia HS (East Greenbush)

COURSE PREREQUISITES: 11th and 12th grade students

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This course may offer an opportunity for students interested in
European History to obtain college credit.

Critical analysis of the political, diplomatic, cultural, social, and economic history of Europe from the period of
the High Renaissance (1450) to the present will be studied.

Students will take the Advanced Placement Examination in May. Department approval is required.
