COURSE NAME: Environmental Science

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Recommended that prospective students have passed Earth Science and Living
Environment Regents.


BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Designed as an introductory environmental Science.

Emphasis is on local and global environmental issues such as resource depletion, air, land, and water
pollution, and climate change. Human population changes and how humans are working to environmental
issues will also be studied.

Designed to fulfill the third year science requirement for students not taking Chemistry.
