COURSE PREREQUISITES: Open to all students who have successfully completed French III.

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This course emphasizes the 5 basic skills: reading, writing, listening,
speaking and culture as in previous years. However, there will be a more intense focus on immersion in
French and an introduction to literature.

Depending on the year, students may have the opportunity to go to France, Europe, Quebec, or New York
City.

SUNY credit is available to students, but solely at the discretion of the teacher of the course and SUNY personnel.
