BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Health is a one semester course. The course is divided into two
ten-week segments. The first ten weeks is devoted to healthy lifestyles, nutrition, emotional health, and
stress management. The second ten weeks will be devoted to disease prevention including AIDS education,
alcohol, tobacco, drugs, and family life education.
