Distance Learning Course Description


COURSE NAME: Pre-Calculus Trigonometry (MAT 121 - SUNY Adirondack)

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Hartford

HALF YEAR

MAXIMUM TOTAL CLASS ENROLLMENT - ALL SITES: 25

COURSE PREREQUISITES: HS Integrated Algebra, Geometry and Alg2/Trig with a cumulative average of 85%
or higher. A score of 70% or higher on Alg2/Trig exam to take course for college credit.


BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE:

A preparation for calculus through an extensive study of the theory of trigonometric functions. Topics include
radian measure of angles, trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions, and trigonometric identities.
Highly recommended for students pursuing degrees in mathematics and/or the sciences.
