BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: The course focuses on the
application of sociological methods,
concepts, analysis and theories to the study of contemporary problems.
Both micro-level and macro-level problems will be examined. The
process of defining situations as social
problems and a critical analysis of information concerning social
problems will be an objective of the course.
