COURSE NAME: Advanced US History I & II

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Global Studies I & II

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Frontier psychology, isolationism, and region interests are major
topics to be examined in the study of the development of the American civilization. Also, covered is the
industrialization and American emergence as a major world power are focal points in the study on Modern
America from the Civil War top present. Students are prepared to take the US History regents at the
conclusion of this course.
