COURSE NAME: Advanced Placement Calculus AB

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Johnsburg

INSTRUCTOR: Leonard Stein

Full Year

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Completion of a pre-calculus course involving advanced algebra and trigonometry.

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Calculus AB is designed to develop students' understanding of the
concept of calculus and provide experience with its methods and applications.

Unit 1: Limits and Continuity
Unit 2: Differentiation
Unit 3: Applications of Differential Calculus
Unit 4: Integration
Unit 5: Definite Integrals
Unit 6: Applications of Integration


OTHER NOTES / MISCELLANEOUS: Students will be expected to take the AP Calculus Exam.
