Distance Learning Course Description



COURSE NAME: AP Calculus

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Glens Falls

INSTRUCTOR: TBD

Full Year

COURSE PREREQUISITES: This course is open to selected students who have successfully completed Math B
and pre-Calculus.


BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Topics include differential calculus of algebraic functions and their
applications, integral calculus of algebraic functions, geometric and physical applications of integration and
of the calculus of elementary transcendental functions.


OTHER NOTES / MISCELLANEOUS: Students must take the Advanced Placement Test in mathematics offered
by the College Entrance Examination Board (fee currently charged by CEEB is $84.00 and must be paid by
March 31st). The results determine advanced placement and/or academic credit granted in accordance with
individual college institution guidelines.

Students will sit for the AP College Board examination in May.
