COURSE PREREQUISITES: regents level physics is preferred, but not required Students should at least be
in Pre-calc math class

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Algebra based, college level physics offered through college board.
Topic of study include: Mechanics (kinematics, statics, dynamics, work, power and energy, momentum and
circular motion) Fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, waves and optics, and nuclear and modern
physics. Every topic is covered in more detail than the regents curriculum.

OTHER NOTES / MISCELLANEOUS: this class contains a lab portion that would have to be taught (under my
direction if desired) at the receive site
