BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: French IV students are asked to use the skills they have been
developing for the past three years in order to further their knowledge of the French language, its literature
and its civilization.

Class is conducted entirely in French and all work is done in the foreign language. Topics covered in this
course vary according to the interests of the particular class, and may include the reading of short stories,
novels and poetry in French; the study of French art, music, politics, etc.; and the development of foreign
language teaching and international business skills.
