BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: For students who have mastered Level I, this course will
prepare students to sustain brief conversations, produce short written passages, interpret written
material and understand spoken portions of the language. Understanding culture is important. There
will ne continued use of videos, computer programs, tapes, and Cds. Together with Level III, this
course reinforces and adds to the skills needed to commuinicate in the language as well as achieve
success on the Regents exam at the end of Level III.
