Distance Learning Course Description


COURSE NAME: AP Calculus

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Glens Falls

INSTRUCTOR: Carol Geruso

FULL YEAR

COURSE PREREQUISITES: This course is only open to selected students who have successfully completed all other Regents level courses and Pre-Calculus.

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: Topics include differential calculus of algebraic functions and their applications, integral calculus of algebraic functions, geometric and physical applications of integration, and the calculus of elementary transcendental functions.

OTHER NOTES / MISCELLANEOUS: Students must take the Advanced Placement Test in mathematics offered by the College Entrance Examination Board. The fee charged by CEEB must be paid by March 30th. The 2001 fee was $77.00. The results of this examination will determine advanced placement and/or academic credit granted in accordance with a policy established by each institution of higher learning.
