BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE:Students should have a good understanding of basic essay
techniques and reading comprehension. The students should have taken Global Studies. The course follows
the NYS standards and has writing and reading comprehension components.

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This course will follow the AP outline for the European History AP
exam. The students will be required to carry a large load of writing and reading tasks.

The class will consist of notes and practice test exercises. Students who do not want to be challenged and
held to a high academic standard should avoid this course. Students who want to be challenged a college
level and gain AP credit should embrace this course.
