Distance Learning Course Description


COURSE NAME: Computer Networking I/II

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Malone (Franklin Academy)

INSTRUCTOR: Stacy Vincent

Full Year (40 weeks)

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Any Computer Course

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This course teaches students to design, build, and maintain
computer networks.

Upon completion, students will be able to successfully address network users' needs and will resolve
technical issues. Diverse instruction will including reading material, graphics, Quick Time movies from the
Internet, as well as hands-on lab.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be better prepared to enter the workforce upon
graduation and command a living income. Students can also continue studying networking in college
ensuring even better future incomes.
