COURSE NAME: Introduction To Law

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Fonda - Fultonville

INSTRUCTOR: Mrs. Johnson

FULL YEAR

COURSE PREREQUISITES: Open to all students grade 11 - 12

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: A one-year course designed to help you better understand the
legal world in which you live. Law has a major impact on the lives of young people as well as adults and
business firms. To obtain an understanding of legal principles, such as ethics, crimes & torts, law for
minors & families, contracts, using credit cards, working for others and property law, which will be
useful throughout your life.

OTHER NOTES / MISCELLANEOUS: Case trials, Mini mock trials and quest speakers. Students may opt to pay tuition and obtain college credit from Fulton-Montgomery Community College through this course.
