Distance Learning Course Description


COURSE NAME: Introduction to Programming in C++ (CIS 143)

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Adirondack Community College at Fort Edward

INSTRUCTOR:

Half Year Fall

COURSE PREREQUISITES: MAT 108, Regents Course III, or equivalent.

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This course includes topics on hardware, software, the
programming process, data types, arithmetic, control structures, simple date structures, functions,
files, numerical computation, algorithm design, program testing, debugging, and documentation.


OTHER NOTES / MISCELLANEOUS: Lecture: 2 hrs. Lab: 2 hrs. Credit: 3hrs.
(Class will be for three (3) college credits from ACC).
