COURSE PREREQUISITES: Spanish I, II and III (for UIH: Must have passed Regents Exam)

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: A course of communication (conversation and composition) based
on the study and discussion of such media as movies (videos), the arts (music, painting, etc.) and
literature (poetry, drama, short storys, etc.) Efforts will be made to include topics relevant to needs
and interests of students for special topics. Projects may include the use of computer programs, Internet,
Video-taping, etc.

OTHER NOTES: Grades 11-12 Course may be taken for University in the High School credit (4 credits)
from the University at Albany by paying a fee of $120 (subject to change, discounted with reduced free
lunch).
