COURSE NAME: Speedwriting

SCHOOL DISTRICT: Fonda - Fultonville

COURSE PREREQUISITES:

BRIEF COURSE DESCRIPTION / OUTLINE: This form of note taking uses the letters of the alphabet and familiar punctuation marks to represent sounds. As a result, taking notes, building speed, and transcribing are accelerated. Students will develop a basic competency of 80 words a minute. This course is recommended for ALL students, especially the college-bound ones. Recommended grade level: 10-12
