Blackboard 5.5 - Create Your Own Online Course/Module



Are you interested in putting your curriculum online or creating professional development materials for Web access?

This session will cover the design of online courses to actual course creation using Blackboard 5 and Microsoft FrontPage.

Topics covered include:
  • online course design
  • using Blackboard 5
  • using an HTML editor
  • creating online assessments and assignments
  • user and site management
  • communication and site maintenance
Participants will create a sample online course and are encouraged to bring their own classroom or subject matter materials for course development.

Prerequisites: must be an experienced Windows user. Prior experience creating Web pages recommended.
